Gebeta Le Hager projects have contributed not only destinations to the tourism sector, but also infrastructure – Minister of Tourism, Ambassador Nasise Chali.

The Minister of Tourism, Ambassador Nasise Chali, stated that Gebetal Bahgar projects are making a significant contribution to the tourism sector by contributing not only destinations but also infrastructure.
Chobera Elephant Dana Lodge, which is part of Gebet Le Hager Koisha project, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) yesterday and opened for service.
The Minister of Tourism, Ambassador Nasise Chali Chobera, mentioned that Dana Lodge is one of the destinations he has built for the country, and said that the projects are contributing to the tourism sector by completing the infrastructure beyond being a destination.
Citing Chobera Churchura Park in Southwest Ethiopia as an example, Ambassador Nasise reminded that the park is not visited as much as it should be due to the lack of infrastructure.
He said that with the infrastructure work done by the project for the country, the natural beauty of the park has been made accessible to visitors from different parts of the world.
He said that Chobera Elephant Dana Lodge has been built in harmony with nature, a comfortable and modern place for tourists to appreciate the scenery without harming nature.
This is an indication that our practice of developing tourist destinations that highlight the natural beauty of the country without harming nature is increasing, he said.
The Minister said that in the future, the tourism destinations which are considered to be vast for generational projects are being built all over the country and these have a great contribution in terms of promoting the image of Ethiopia.
